Brisbane’s New Car Protection Studio

Two owners. One standard.

Deluxe Detail started in 2018 with Daniel Whitelock, a ute, a few buckets and a simple rule: do it properly or not at all. Nick Peters was running his own detailing business when the two met, recognised the same obsession with standards in each other, and joined forces.

What began as a few mobile ceramic coatings a month quickly became a few every week. The mobile setup gave way to the Sherwood studio in 2021, and in 2025 the business moved into its new Oxley headquarters, with the space and setup to do the work the way it should be done.

Along the way the pair earned Gtechniq accreditation in their very first year, built a small team that shares the same standard, and launched Deluxe Detail’s own range of care products, from professional wash kits to the Dry Guy drying towel, so the finish that leaves the studio can be maintained at home.

We are a deliberately low volume studio. We are not trying to be the biggest in Brisbane, and we never will be. Taking on a limited number of cars each week means every vehicle gets the hours it needs, and nothing wears the Deluxe name unless it is right.

Dan and Nick are still hands on, still across every car that comes through, and the name on the door is theirs. When you hand over your keys, you are dealing with the owners.
